 Opportunities listed below are free for all ages unless otherwise noted. An additional 20% fee will be applied to all paid programming for out-of-parish participants. This does not apply to admission into facilities.
PROGRAMS
SUNSHINE CLUB
What do you do after graduation? You walk on Sunshine,
of course! The Sunshine Club is here to help bridge the gap for adults with Intellectual and developmental disabilities
by offering not only recreational experiences but life skills and volunteer opportunities. We learn how to be productive members of the community while exploring and learning new things with lots of fun thrown in the mix.
MILTON J. WOMACK PARK
Monday-Friday / Jan. 2- May 17 / 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Ages: 18+ with intellectual + developmental disabilities / $125/week
All incoming participants need an assessment.

SUNSHINE INTERACTIVE GROUP
Come have fun with the Sunshine Interactive Group for teens and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Sunshine Interactive Group is designed for teens and adults with intellectual disabilities to learn new skills, take part in new adventures and interact with others their age while having tons of fun!
NORTH SHERWOOD FOREST COMMUNITY PARK
Monday-Friday / Jan. 8- May 17 / 10 a.m.-noon Ages: 16+ with intellectual + developmental disabilities + their caregiver

Inclusive Leagues
INCLUSIVE BASKETBALL
Nothing but net! Show off your dribbling and shooting skills with BREC Adaptive's Inclusive Basketball Open to everyone of all abilities ages 3 through adults.
FOREST COMMUNITY PARK
Feb. 17-April 20 / 9 a.m.-noon / Ages: 3+ / $10 To register: webtrac.brec.org
INCLUSIVE KICKBALL
Next Kicker Up! Show your kicking skills and round the bases with BREC Adaptive's Inclusive Kickball. Open to everyone of all abilities ages 3 through adults.
LOVETT ROAD PARK
Tuesday / Feb. 27- April 30 / 6-7 p.m. Ages:3+ / $10

Our goal is to offer a positive and supportive environment where individuals of all abilities can explore new recreation skills, develop socialization skills and have opportunities to participate in leisure and recreation programming to the fullest extent. While BREC strives to offer inclusive programs parish-wide we also offer separate programs exclusively for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

SUNSHINE SOCIALS
Dance the night away with BREC Adaptive and Families Helping Families as we host our monthly Sunshine Socials. Be creative and dress to match each month’s theme. Enjoy dinner, dancing, and door prizes.
