 GEAUX FISH CATFISH RODEO
Grab your fishing pole and head out with the family to GEAUX Fish! Our Geaux Fish Rodeos are a great opportunity to introduce new anglers to the sport of fishing or for the old veteran to test their skills. We will be stocking the pond with adult channel catfish to ensure you have plenty to catch and prizes galore. Don’t miss this chance to bring home channel catfish for dinner and spend the day outside with the family. This event is weather dependent. Space will be limited for this event; so early registration is required for this event. (WebTrac CFISHRODEO)

NATURAL SKY CONFERENCE
We inadvertently block our view of the sky, using a curtain of dust particles illuminated by badly-designed street lamps and other nighttime fixtures. We invite the public to meet those individuals and organizations in town that have a direct ability to quelch the light pollution in the area.
ZOO RUN RUN
Run like a cheetah to our annual Zoo Run Run 2-Mile Race and 1⁄2 Mile Kids' Fun Run! At the run, enjoy the scenery as you scamper, trot or gallop your way through BREC's Baton Rouge Zoo. All proceeds from the race support your Baton Rouge Zoo and international cheetah conservation efforts.

Whether you want to learn more about invasive species removal, trail clearing or how to be a program or event aid, this training is for you! Training includes a classroom component and hands-on field training that we knock out all in one day. Lunch is provided and we will be in a location that provides social distancing during the classroom component. The training counts towards your total hours for the year.

We will be hiking off the beaten path at one of BREC's Conservation Areas using the outdoors as a window to relaxation and free the mind. Join us to get a well-deserved dose of nature at its finest.
