The largest IAD celebration in the region serves up a wealth of STEM exhibitors and demonstrations, games, music and a raffle for hundreds of dollars in prizes.

Join Conservation staff for this new event for children age 3-6 and their parents or guardians. Your nature pioneer can come explore with us at Palomino drive park and enjoy short hikes, games, storytelling, and arts and crafts! Each program will explore a different theme through indoor and outdoor investigation and exploration. Masks and Social Distancing will be required for this event.

MERCURIAN ELONGATION
The safest time to view elusive Mercury is when it is as removed from the Sun as possible. Patrons will see a magnified image of a “half-Mercury.”

NATURE NIGHT HIKE
Join us on a Friday night for a terrific way to say goodbye to school and kickstart the summer! The program will include
a night hike learning about local ecology and nocturnal animals and will include activities and games. Enjoy this picturesque hike to get the family out after the daytime heat. Preregistration is required and spaces are limited. Children must be registered and accompanied by a registered adult. Masks and Social Distancing will be required for this event.
