CAMP-IN’
Get inspired through games, crafts and activities highlighting our favorite summer camp moments. Campers should bring a lunch and 2 snacks and be dressed for indoor and outdoor activities.

HOMESCHOOL DAY
Welcome back to school! Let BREC help you with ideas for homeschool fieldtrips. Come out and join us as we showcase different genres, activities and programs BREC has to offer. The kickoff activity will begin at 9 a.m. Groups will rotate in a round robin style to each activity and each activity will last 15 minutes.

NEIGHBORHOOD MOVIE IN THE PARK
Grab your chairs, blankets and a picnic to join BREC for a movie under the stars. Seating will start at 5:30 p.m. and the movie will begin after sunset.

GLOBAL COMMUNITY DAY
The Rotary Club of Baton Rouge –Capital City and BREC are hosting Global Community Day. This event is educational and promotes diversity and understanding. Come out to explore cultural exhibits from around the globe. Visitors will receive world visitor pass to travel from country to country to learn about different cultures and get passes stamped. Member of Baton Rouge’s international community, dressed in colorful clothes, will perform traditional ethic dances from around the world.

MINI CARNIVAL + MOVIE IN THE PARK
Some of the best parts of a carnival are the games and food! Our mini carnival will feature carnival games and family fun entertainment for all to enjoy. Bring the family out to enjoy a day full of fun! Earn tickets from the games and redeem for popcorn, cotton candy and other prizes.

FALL ESPORTS TOURNAMENT SERIES
Do you have the skills, coordination and training to beat other gamers? Participants ages 10 and older are invited to join BREC for a 4-game series of eSports tournaments beginning at noon on Sept. 25 at our new eSports Lounge located at Red Oaks Park.
