  ENGLISH + WESTERN RIDING LESSONS
Learn how to ride a horse,or improve on your skills. Farr Park offers riding lessons to students ages 6 and up at all different levels. Group and private lessons are available.

SUP 101
SUP bruh? We’re stoked to be offering this SUP 101 course at Greenwood Community Park. So, come hang with us as we take our stand-up paddle boards out on the Greenwood lake. Let us help you get comfortable standing and paddling on the open water. All SUP equipment provided.

Golf Programs
FIRST TEE OF EAST BATON ROUGE PARISH
First Tee is a national youth development program that offers year-round programming. Our mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf. The First Tee teaches juniors ranging from beginners to those playing competitively, how to play, improve their game and develop life-long friendships.
Those new to the program register as player level. The spring program will offer clinics once a week for six weeks during March and April. The program wraps up with a Saturday play day tournament on Saturday, April 17.

KAYAKING 101
A beginner to intermediate paddling class on local BREC ponds. You will be given the opportunity to explore paddling skills on dry land, before moving on to water to get a true feel for how kayaks handle in their natural environment. Instructors will coach participants on basic kayak handling, strokes, and techniques, and maneuvering skills to help you feel comfortable on the water in the kayak. This prepares you for the other BREC Paddling Programs.
