Events
ROLL, WALK, RUN FOR DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITY AWARENESS
This event will include a 3-mile fun run/roll and 1-mile fun walk/roll to celebrate and increase community awareness of all individuals with all abilities. At the end of the pre-marked course, community service providers will be present to distribute information about their offered services. To conclude the day, participants will enjoy a dance party with a DJ and snacks as well.
FOREST COMMUNITY PARK March 6 / 8 a.m.-noon
All ages and abilities are welcome. $5 per participant

VIRTUAL SUNSHINE SOCIALS
Through a partnership with Families Helping Families of Greater Baton Rouge, this monthly themed social is being held through a virtual setup on the Third Friday of each month. While in virtual setup, there will be music for everyone to enjoy and dance the night away together onscreen! A device with internet access, speaker and camera is required to participate. Upon registration, participants will be sent the Zoom link to join us!

VIRTUAL SUNSHINE TEEN NIGHTS
This social opportunity is one exclusively for our teens with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We will offer an online activity on the second Friday of the month. There will be a monthly theme that is programmed with topics including art, cooking, wellness and game night and pre-registration is required. A device with internet access, speaker and a camera is required to participate. Upon registration, participants will be sent the Zoom link to join us!

SENSORY BUNNY
Through a partnership with Families Helping Families of Greater Baton Rouge, we are offering the opportunity for
a one-afternoon event allowing individuals with sensory processing disorders (such as Autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities) a chance to take a picture with the Easter Bunny! The event will include a drive through format, where you will collect a craft in a bag, a snack, and easter egg and take a selfie with the Easter Bunny.
